Discover the hidden colours of the natural world in this hands-on workshop exploring how plants can be transformed into beautiful inks and pigments for drawing, painting, and printmaking.

Using leaves, flowers, berries, roots, and other botanical materials, you'll learn simple techniques for extracting colour and creating your own natural inks. Along the way, we'll explore how different plants produce different hues and how natural modifiers can alter and extend your palette.

This workshop includes:

• An introduction to the history and use of botanical colours.

• Demonstrations of ink and pigment extraction techniques.

• Hands-on colour making using a variety of plant materials.

• Tips for continuing your botanical colour experiments at home.

All materials are provided, and we'll pause mid-morning for tea, coffee, and homemade scones.
